Dutch was a handsome red and white like his daddy. He started his show career with a bang and just kept on going from there, with multiple Best of Breed wins from the classes.
As a special, Dutch was a multiple group winner. He received an Award of Merit at the 2011 BCOA National and at the 2012 Westminster KC show, a Specialty Best in Show at the 2011 Lone Star Borzoi Club specialty and was Select Dog at the 2012 AKC-Eukanuba National Championship. He finished 2012 as the #3 Borzoi breed and #5 all-breed.
Sadly, he fell ill the evening before the 2013 Westminster show and had to undergo emergency surgery. When he returned to the show scene in the last two months of 2013 he picked up where he left off to finish #12 All-Breed with numerous group placements.
In 2014, Dutch was Select Dog at Westminster and became one of the select group of Gold-level Grand Champion Borzoi. He finished 2014 as the #1 Borzoi in Breed, NOHS and Grand Champion points and #2 All-Breed. He scored a Group 1 in Owner-Handled competition at the 2014 AKC-Eukanuba National Championship.
He made a striking brace with his brother Ilya and the boys took several Best Brace in Show wins, including the 2011 BCOA National Specialty.
