A striking self-black, Max had a disastrous start to his show career:  at 8 months of age, in his first three weekends a judge stumbled on top of him, a spectator fell on him and he encountered a judge in the ring who had just finished her cigarette.  We think his natural self-confidence will overcome his inauspicious beginnings as a show dog and indeed Max needs only a major to finish.  It's fun to show a black Borzoi again.
